Sci-Fried has 2 shows coming up. The first show is October 21, 2008 at Martini's Lounge in Lakeland Florida around 9pm. This is the bar where Dr. Vern hosts his karaoke show. But on October 21 we will be playing LIVE!

We're back from the road trip to the Official Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas! Our video Klingon Woman won the Creation Star Trek Music Video Contest for the second year in a row! We are already planning our next video for the contest.
Thanks to everyone who we hung out with in Vegas and at Quark's Bar. It will really be sad next year when the Star Trek Experience will not be there. So we will still be there and we will take the party out to the streets of Vegas next year! I hope you will all join us.

We're getting ready to head to Vegas for the Official Star Trek Convention. It will be the last with the Star Trek Experience. It will be closing on September 1, 2008. So I hope you will all join us there to send it off with a bang!
I posted part 1 of 2 for the Vulkon Orlando pictures. I have the 2nd set coming in the next week.
There was a Internet talk radio show that broadcast live from The Warped Core bar. I added it to the Video and Music Gallery.
I also finally added the Star Wars Weekends 2008 Parade video. Its rather long so I only put it up in DIVX format. I will be sure to include it on our Hits From Space volume 3 DVD which will be out early next year.

The pre-party will rock true Florida style with sunshine, booze and
pool play as dead carcasses are sacrificed over the leaping fires of
grill. The undead who shun the sun or light weights who can’t handle
pool water in their Jaeger can catch a game of pool or play pinball
and assorted video games in the beckoning darkness of the house.
Gradually, the sun will sink along with your coordination, ability
to speak clearly and any humility that you may have arrived with.
The Gods of Rock will stir and awaken, touching your soul and
command you to join their ranks. You will hear the call and you will
answer…loudly…and out of tune…as you strap on your gear and prepare
to battle your brothers and sisters to establish your dominance and
prove once and for all that you were, indeed, born to rock!
Band
Competition Rules and Guidelines:
1. Each band will play three or four songs (depending on how many
sign up). Please let me know as soon as you can if you are competing
so I can be better prepared.
2. Songs will be placed into a hat and drawn randomly by the band.
You will have the choice of level of difficulty: the harder, the
more points. Singer, if you can’t sing the song, power through it.
If done right, that could earn more points than someone singing who
knows the song!
3. Optional Shot Challenge – This is not required but can increase
your point value –To count, each band member must do a shot in the
middle of a song. The player chooses when, but it must be after all
players have started playing. It is recommended you have a shot
person on hand to give you the shot when you are ready.
Bands will be judged on the following:
• How well they play
• How well they work the crowd
• Presentation (we ARE a costuming group so dress the part!)
• Level of Difficulty of the song
• Shot challenge
Prizes will be given for best individual performances and for the
best overall band.
Food
Although we will be providing standard cook-out grub, feel free to
bring anything more exotic that appeals to you. GagH is particularly
good when served live.
Booze
Der. Have you MET us yet? We should have plenty, but you are always
free to bring more.
Accommodations
Floor space is available Friday night for anyone who wants to join
us in pre-pre-partying. Floor space is also available Saturday night
if driving isn’t an option. Just bring your air mattress.

Greeting everyone! It's been a while since the last update! Lots of new projects are going on with Chuckcon Productions. First let me tell you about the updates.

Ok, so we are taking the music to the next level baby. We have started a Sci-Fi band! Were just getting started but we have some great songs on the way. More parodies and and some original songs too. We should have 1 or 2 demos out (videos too) soon. Look for our first full cd to be out in the fall. We still have not chosen a name for our band yet. We have several ideas in mind but would welcome any ideas on what you think would be a cool name for a sci-fi band. Here are the members of the band...... Remastered Songs and Videos!
Check out the Video and Music gallery for remastered versions of some of our songs and videos. A few of the videos needed to have some sound adjustments made to them. None of the video was changed on anything just sound. All the remastered videos and songs will be marked in the Video and Music Gallery main page. Versions on YouTube and MySpace will remain the same. Look for our NEW DVD (that will have all our remastered videos and new videos) and audio CD (that will have ALL our songs) coming this July! Just in time for Vegas and Dragoncon! Look for us there to get a copy!

Added some new pictures from the past month. South Beach boat pictures, Miami Dolphins game, Gargamel concert, Rock Band!, Some pictures from the studio too.
Just added 2 new songs to the video and music gallery! Klingon Woman was the song we were shooting the video for at the Vulkon here in Orlando last weekend. Another Ship in the War will have a video some time early next year.
Also added is a new re-mastered version of Well Revered. Go to the video and music gallery and have a listen. We hopefully will have the video for that one done by the end of December.
We have several projects in production now. Look for a return of the Wookiee and the Ewok and a special Christmas treat. Will be adding new songs in the next few weeks!

Screamfest was a great time for all. Check out the photo gallery for all the pictures we took! The crowd was the largest I have seen at this event to date. The zombie walk was something that had to be experienced to be believed! I just posted the Zombie walk at Screamfest video! So be sure to watch it in our video gallery. Greetings! Chuckcon had a great summer run! Creation's Official Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas was a blast! Chuckcon won the Star Trek music video contest with "Klingon Rhapsody". It, along with "The Wookiee and the Ewok" were also shown on Dragoncon TV at Dragoncon in Atlanta this year. Screamfest 2007 Orlando is on Oct 19-21 2007 in Orlando. Vulkon Nov 2-4 2007 is where you can come and see the Klingon bar "The Warped Core" and maybe even be in our next video! Check here for more Chuckcon updates!
